2023 - I typically do not use my iPhone when shooting, however, I only had my 70-200mm lens and I wanted the wider shot. I will have to return to re-do this shot and see how different it may be... Shot with an iPhone 15 Pro @ 24mm f1.78 - ISO 80 - 1/2604s.
2023 - Nature's Nectar. This lens isn't the best for Macro, but I do love the bokeh on the 2.8. Shot with a Canon EOS R5 // 70-200mm f/2.8 L @ 200mm f2.8 - ISO 100 - 1/400s.

2024 - The Ultra-Wide Thinker. Shot with a Sony a7c II // 12-24mm f/4 G @ 12mm - ISO 400 - 1/200s.
2024 - I always try to stick to one camera and lens and switch it up each visit. That way I can keep my focus. I used to use several lenses, but constantly having to swap out takes away time and you end up missing shots. I read a post where a photographer said to stick to one lens long term so you can master it. I'm trying to put that into practice, but it's not always that easy... 2024 - Soft Falls v1.0. This is one of my first attempts of capturing a long exposed water fall. It's a small one, but soothing nonetheless. Shot with a Sony a7c II // 12-24mm f/4 G @ 14mm - ISO 50 - 5s. I believe I positioned the camera on a bench for this shot. It was not handheld.
2024 - Bamboo Shores. Shot with a Sony a7c II // 12-24mm f/4 G @ 17mm - ISO 640 - 1/80s.
2024 - Ultra-Wide Lily Pond. The Lily ponds at the Huntington Botanical Gardens were designed and curated by William Hertrich (1878-1966) and were completed in 1905. Shot with a Sony a7c II // 12-24mm f/4 G @ 14mm - ISO 640 - 1/160s.
2025 - Dark Blue Skies. Shot with a Canon EOS R5 // 24-70mm f/2.8 L @ 28mm f/8 - ISO 400 - 1/400s.
2025 - The Thorn Garden. Shot with a Canon EOS R5 // 24-70mm f/2.8 L @ 24mm f/8 - ISO 200 - 1/400s.
2025 - The Desert Garden at the Huntington is pretty big and you can spend a good hour or more just looking at the various species. Shot with a Canon EOS R5 // 24-70mm f/2.8 L @ 46mm f/8 - ISO 200 - 1/400s.
2025 - Wildlife In The Park. Shot with a Canon EOS R5 // 24-70mm f/2.8 L @ 24mm f/8 - ISO 400 - 1/250s.
2025 - Soft Falls v2.0. I don't know if the Huntington has any larger waterfalls, but I've captured this one once before but I failed to bring a tripod with me so I couldn't prop it up on anything for a long exposure. This trip I came prepared with a small Manfrotto tripod, although there was limited space where I could place it. Shot with a Canon EOS R5 // 24-70mm f/2.8 L @ 29mm f/2.8 - ISO 400 - 2.5s - mini tripod mounted.
2025 - Off Limits Bridge. This is a pretty neat arc bridge in the Japanese Garden. Unfortunately it's fenced off so there's no access to cross it. Shot with a Canon EOS R5 // 24-70mm f/2.8 L @ 33mm f/4 - ISO 100 - 1/400s.

2023 - As you walk the main entry path you will encounter a lily pond with these budding flowers when in season. They are pinkish in hue, however, the muted tone I used in LR made the flower more lavender with a hint of iridescence. Shot with a Canon EOS R5 // 70-200mm f/2.8 L @ 142mm f2.8 - ISO 800 - 1/4000s.

2025 - The Sprouting Photographer. My oldest daughter wanted to learn, however, she was not interested in using a manual camera because there was too many functions. 2025 - Blue Geraniums. These blossom in either Pink, Purple or Blue. I have owned and used both the RF 70-200 f2.8L and f4L. I initially had the f4 and sold that to upgrade to the f2.8L, however, aside from better bokeh, I didn't need the bulk and I'm not a portrait photographer and I didn't use it much if at all for low light so I reverted.
